A Special Visit From Ted

Residents at Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon were delighted to welcome Ted, a friendly Pets As Therapy dog, for a special afternoon visit.

Ted spent time with residents throughout the home, visiting the garden, lounges and individual rooms so that everyone could enjoy his company. His gentle presence brought plenty of smiles and created opportunities for residents to spend time with a friendly animal in a relaxed and familiar setting.

For some residents, visits from therapy dogs can also provide an opportunity to reminisce about pets they have owned and loved throughout their lives, encouraging conversation and the sharing of happy memories. Others simply enjoy the comfort and companionship that comes from spending time with an animal.

It was lovely to see Ted making his way around Queens View Harbour and bringing happiness wherever he went. We are grateful to Pets As Therapy for providing these meaningful visits and look forward to welcoming Ted back again.
