About Queens View Harbour Care Home
Queens View Harbour Care Home is located in the scenic port town of Troon, Scotland. Our care home is a private, wonderful care facility that provides outstanding accommodation, with 56 modern bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. Nursing care, as well as Residential, Dementia, and Respite care, is provided by our experienced and dedicated team.
Our home was built with our residents in mind, with a strong emphasis on group living to build friendship and confidence. Our staff takes pride in providing a loving and supportive atmosphere in which everyone can live in harmony. Our staff has undergone extensive training to provide the best possible care and attention to all of our residents.

At Queens View Harbour Care Home, our devoted team can create detailed, tailored programmes for every resident. A personalised medical and daily life plan is produced, working closely with residents and their loved ones to provide the best possible care. A designated nurse or key worker will work alongside all residents to maintain the consistency of care for our residents’ overall health, welfare, and interests.
Meet the Team
- Home Manager
Michelle is the Home Manager at Queens View Harbour and brings a wealth of experience having managed care homes for the last 12 years as well as being a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Clinical Lead
Janette brings a wealth of experience to her role at Queens View Harbour. Having started her started her nursing career at Glasgow Northern College of Nursing and Midwifery she later moved to practice in the community as a Community Charge Nurse before making the move to the private sector as a Care Home Manager and managing Care Services. Janette takes an immense amount of pride in ensuring that all of the residents and their families receive the very best in person-centred care.
- Health & Social Care Lead
Kerrie brings extensive experience to Queens View Harbour. Having started her career as a Care Assistant she has progressed to Health & Social Care Lead having gained SVQs Levels 2, 3 & 4 in Health & Social Care. Kerrie is really passionate about delivering excellence in care to all the residents.
- Head Chef
Derek joins the team at Queens View Harbour as Head Chef having had a love of working in kitchens from an early age. Derek has worked in a variety of settings including hotels, fine dining restaurants and more recently in care homes.
- Home Administrator
Angela is often one of the first people you will talk to at the home and she has extensive experience as an administrator as well as having worked as a Care Assistant. This provides Angela with the perfect skill set for her role at Queens View Harbour and she loves getting to know our residents and their families.
- Maintenance Officer
Lewis was part of the start up team at Queens View Harbour and brings a wealth of experience as well as being a dab hand in ensuring that the home is beautifully maintained. Lewis, ensures that Queens View Harbour offers a true home for home setting for all the residents.
- Wellbeing Coordinator
Lorena is one Queens View Harbour’s Wellbeing Coordinators. Lorena has lots of experience working in the care sector. Lorena loves to bring laughter and joy to the residents by encouraging them to get involved with the many activities on offer, from arts & crafts to exercise classes and social events.
- Wellbeing Coordinator
Clea is one of our Wellbeing Coordinators here at Queens View Harbour. Having a background in Art & Design, she enjoys doing creative activities with residents that stimulate all the senses, from tasting sessions to sensory boxes and aromatherapy. Clea believes it’s important to build good relationships with everyone.
