Troon’s Queen View Harbour Recognised Among UK’s Top 100 Care Homes

Queen View Harbour Care Home in Troon has been officially named one of the UK’s Top 100 Care Homes, a prestigious national recognition that highlights the home’s dedication to exceptional care, innovation, and resident wellbeing.
The accolade follows a motion lodged in the Scottish Parliament by South Scotland MSP Sharon Dowey, who congratulated the team at Queen View Harbour on their outstanding achievement.
The ranking was compiled by Lottie, a UK-wide care home search platform, which evaluated homes using a broad range of criteria, including Care Inspectorate ratings, response times, resident feedback, and staff wellbeing.
Since opening in 2021, Queen View Harbour has quickly established itself as one of the leading care facilities in the country. The home places a strong emphasis on creating a vibrant and supportive community, offering residents state-of-the-art facilities such as a cinema, hairdressing salon, and welcoming social spaces.
Sharon Dowey MSP said:
“It is fantastic to see Queen View Harbour placed among the UK’s Top 100 Care Homes. This is a reflection of the hard work, compassion, and professionalism shown by the entire team. The staff should be proud of the care and support they provide for residents every single day.”
Home Manager Gemma Boyle added:
“We are incredibly proud to be recognised at this level. Our team works tirelessly to provide not only high-quality care but also a home full of joy, dignity, and community spirit. This achievement belongs to our staff, residents, and families who make Queen View Harbour such a special place.”
The recognition underscores Queen View Harbour’s growing reputation across Scotland and the UK, serving as a model of excellence in the care sector.
