At Queens View Harbour Care Home, we like to celebrate all occasions throughout the year, big or small. We place a high value on providing residents with the opportunities to create wonderful memories and lead a happy and fulfilling lifestyle.

This Valentine's Day, we began with our 'Bee My Valentine' session, a themed activity where our residents got to taste all different kinds of honey. The session was as sweet as could be and went down a treat with the residents. There were lots of different ideas and ways for our residents to enjoy their honey as well as other goodies for them to indulge in.

As the day went on, we transformed our Sunset Café into the perfect space for our lovely couples to enjoy a special Valentine's Day dinner. We tried to make the dining experience as wonderful as possible, with decorations, a dedicated menu, and individual couple pictures.

The courses were perfectly presented and went down well with all the residents. We would like to say a special thanks to our team Lorena, Clea, and Derek who ensured the perfect ambiance and that the service was delivered with a smile.

All of our residents got to enjoy some sweet treats throughout the day and everyone gathered in the evening to enjoy live music from the Music Box.

Love was certainly spread throughout our care home in Troon and it was lovely for our residents and staff to spend this day together. We are looking forward to enjoying more celebrations soon.
